Chris Koury's Bio:
A musician, performer and teacher located in the Petoskey area. A 2007 eddi Award winner for performing arts, Chris Koury sings and plays guitar in local establishments, is the resident guitar instructor at The Crooked Tree Arts Center in Petoskey, and is an adjunct professor at North Central Michigan College, teaching music history, theory and composition. In addition to his 20+ years of teaching and performing experience, he has an extensive history of theatre performance, most notably with the Little Traverse Civic Theatre. His primary roles include: Dr. Treves in "The Elephant Man”, Lloyd in “Noises Off”, Tom in"The Glass Menagerie”, Raul in“Extremities” and Manolo in “The Odd Couple-Female Version”. He has also had supporting roles in film including "State Debate" and "Mr. Art Critic".
